It’s hard to answer what inspires me, because I never really have time to notice that I need inspiration. Between the people on my team, the players, the stories and characters in the games and little kids who want to hear about our jobs… the inspiration never really stops. I’m also personally driven to see how far I can go and how much I can touch, and of course I love the life that this industry lets me live.

Other game developers really motivate me to want to start creating my own games. They're all so passionate and that passion is contagious. And I know that if they're able to create such amazing things, then I can too. Additionally, I love the idea of being able to share profound experiences through games, with other people.

This is one of the more difficult industries to get into, but there are many paths. Know where you want to end up before you start. Once you get in, don't be afraid of being the only woman in the room - it will happen. When it does, don't be a wallflower: sit at the table, make yourself heard. Lastly, don't be afraid to make mistakes and ask stupid questions - that is how you grow.
